The world is the source of truth
A model that generates pretty pictures but doesn't maintain a world isn't a world model. The world itself is what we build.
First Intuition is a research and product company in San Francisco. We build foundational world models — and the surfaces that ride on them.

We're tired of worlds that drift. The current generation of generative video looks right for five seconds and then forgets — lighting changes, characters lose track of what they said, objects fall through floors. That kind of forgetfulness is useless to a robot, a creator, or an audience.
We're convinced the next generation of world models has to be different. Worlds you can return to. Worlds that obey their own rules whether or not anyone is watching.
It's a long bet. We think it's the right one — and the same bet works for robots, for creators, and for the people who will, eventually, walk into the worlds those creators make.
A short list of things we believe about how to build worlds — and a company.
A model that generates pretty pictures but doesn't maintain a world isn't a world model. The world itself is what we build.
Generation is cheap. Commitment is the hard part. We design for it explicitly — and we don't let the model invent its way out of hard problems.
Robotics, creator tools, drama platforms, viewer apps — every product rides on the same world. Surfaces multiply; the foundation stays one.
We'd rather ship five things that feel right than fifty that look right in a screenshot. Restraint compounds.
